People in a movie

The dollar notes in the metal box are
finally returned to him. She begs
(almost like a beggar begging for a
morsel of bread), but he won't stay.

The audience presses a button on
the remote, and sees them again
in his room. Smoking a cigarette,
he calls her 'a lion'. Not a complaint.

People in a movie are not real.
They can be forever in love,
no matter how the story ends
with no love.

The audience hopes she's an actress
and he an actor. Someone please
press a button and let us love,
again.
